A pedestrian struck by a car in Clark had to be airlifted to a hospital after suffering serious injuries.
According to a preliminary investigation, the unidentified pedestrian was struck at the intersection of Raritan Road and Central Avenue at approximately 8:35 a.m.
The impact caused the victim to sustain life-threatening injuries according to police.
The Union County Crash Investigation team was called to the scene.
