The driver of a vehicle that slammed into a business in The Town of Harrison refused medical attention as police investigated what caused the driver to lose control and strike the store.
It happened at approximately 12:15 a.m. in the at the Metro PCS Store located in the 400 block of Bergen Street where police responded to reports of a car vs. a building at that location.
Fast responding Harrison Police officers and firefighters arrived at the scene and found a vehicle that somehow jumped the curb and barrier then struck the Metro PCS establishment.
The crash caused significant damage to the business, but no one walking on the sidewalk of the strip mall suffered injuries according to reports.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
