Emergency responders are on the scene of a fatal crash that involved a motorcycle in Linden this evening.
According to preliminary reports, the crash happened near the intersection of Roselle Street and Monmouth Avenue shortly before 6:25 p.m where police received reports of a collision at that location.
Units arrived at the scene found the severely injured motorcyclist and a damaged car with at least one injured occupant inside.
Police say the car and the motorcycle collided causing fatal injuries to the motorcyclist. A medivac helicopter has been dispatched for the victim inside the vehicle.
The region has seen about three fatal motorcycle crashes since Saturday. (Jersey City, Newark, and Linden -today-).
