UPDATE: Four Separate Shootings Leave Six Victims Shot with One Confirmed Fatality in Paterson

Authorities in Passaic County are looking into multiple shootings that resulted in one fatality in Paterson on Thursday evening.

Our staff reported on two of the shootings with one of the incidents occurring on Temple Street and the other on Rosa Parks Boulevard that began at approximately 3 p.m.

Authorities said police arrived and found two male victims were located, a 21-year-old male from Paterson sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds, and a 24-year-old male, also from Paterson, sustained fatal gunshot wounds.

Both males were transported to Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center in Paterson, where they were both treated. The 24-year-old male victim was pronounced at approximately 4:00 p.m.

In two other separate shootings, Paterson Police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 189 Harrison Street at around 8:30 p.m.

Units arrived at the scene and requested additional units after a large crowd surrounded a person suffering a gunshot wound at that location. Police say the victim was rushed to St. Joseph's Hospital suffering serious injuries.

In another shooting incident, police raced to the 100 block of 3rd Avenue after receiving reports of a robbery with shots fired at that location.

Units arrived at the scene found a victim struck by bullets at that location.

EMS transported the unidentified victim to St. Joseph's Hospital in serious but stable condition according to police.

Authorities are looking for two black males who ran from the scene following the apparent robbery that resulted in shots fired.
