Newark Police and the FBI are on the scene of a bank robbery that occurred for the second time in a week at a location in Newark.
Police say a male suspect entered the PNC Bank located at 469 Central Avenue before 4:30 p.m. and passed the teller a note that demanded cash.
The suspect was handed a bag containing cash and a tracking device according to reports.
Police captured the alleged suspect on Irvine Turner Boulevard a short time later.
On Friday April 5th, a male suspect robbed the same PNC Bank but there’s himself into police shortly after the robbery.
The incident remains under investigation.
