A male suspect who robbed a bank in Newark then ran down the street counting the money while dropping several hundred dollar bills, have been arrested by authorities.
Police officials announced the arrest of Mr. Kadeem Clarke, 27, of Newark, following the bank robbery that occurred on Friday.
Officials say shortly before 11:50 a.m., officers responded to PNC Bank, located at 469 Central Avenue, on a call of a bank robbery.
A male handed a teller a note announcing a bomb and demanding cash.
Units arrived at the scene found that the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.
Police say Clarke reportedly turned himself in to police Friday afternoon and was taken into custody without further incident.
Police charged him with Robbery and Creating a False Public Alarm.
These charges are merely accusations.
The suspect is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
