Police in Newark are on the search for a man who robbed a bank in the city Friday morning.
According to preliminary reports, the suspect walked into the PNC bank located at 469 Central Avenue just before 11:45 a.m. and pass a note to the teller.
Police located evidence in the 20's block of North 6th Street and have a crime scene established.
The suspect has only been identified as a black male around 5'8" tall and last seen wearing a black Nike Scully, blue pants, and a white with a navy blue raincoat and black and white sneakers.
Residents say the suspect was running down the street counting and dropping money at the same time.
Detectives for The Federal Bureau of Investigation are on the scene at this time.
There were no injuries reported.
