Police are investigating after a resident reported an attempted abduction of a 3-year-old child.
According to authorities, police responded to Maple Street at approximately 12:43 p.m. for a report of an attempted abduction of a 3-year-old child.
Officials say the caller told police that approximately 30 minutes before calling them he noticed a male standing on his driveway, while the 3-year-old child was in the fenced in yard. The caller said the male walked away and got into a gray or silver mini-van after he yelled at him.
Police have reviewed home surveillance video near the area of the incident but have do not have enough information to substantiate the allegation.
