Jersey City Police officials today announced the arrests 23 people who were charged in a multi-million dollar shoplifting ring.
According to a press conference held by Hudson County authorities, the year-long investigation revealed that shoplifters stole millions of dollars in products from Ulta Beauty and Walgreens.
Officials say, those items were then sold online for full price to unsuspecting shoppers.
Police described the ring as a sophisticated operation."
Officials announced that police throughout the Tri-state area helped apprehend the 23 suspects, but their identities have not been released.
