A Police officer in Union suffered minor injuries this evening when a vehicle struck him according to police officials.
Officials say the officer was transported to an area hospital after the car struck him near the intersection of Morris and Colonial avenues as the officer was directing traffic because of a power outage in the area.
Officials say the officer is expected to make a full recovery.
There were no other injuries reported.
