Police have launched an investigation into a shooting that injured one person in Blairstown on Thursday evening.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired that rang out in the vicinity of 76 Hope Road at approximately 8 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found the victim suffering a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the leg.
EMS transported the unidentified person to the hospital where doctors treated the injury.
Police believe the gunshot wound was self-inflicted.
