A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Julius Vargas, 26, of Newark, for an aggravated assault incident that occurred on Feb. 27th.
According to authorities, police responded to a South Ward residence after a woman was assaulted by a man she knows following a quarrel.
Detectives investigating this incident identified Julius Vargas as a suspect in this incident and ultimately secured a warrant for his arrest on a charge of Aggravated Assault.
Police describe Vargas as 5’9” tall, 220 lbs., has fair complexion, brown hair and brown eyes.
While police are actively searching for Vargas, they seek the public’s assistance in quickly locating and removing him from the streets.
This investigation is ongoing.
