Rockaway Man Indicted on Aggravated Manslaughter, Vehicular Homicide

Morris County Prosecutor Fredric M. Knapp, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, and Rockaway Township Police Chief Walt Ardin announce the indictment of Edward Koloski, 27 years old, of Rockaway Township.

 Koloski was indicted on October 9, after an investigation revealed that he was allegedly involved in a motor vehicle crash on February 23, 2014 on Route 46 in Rockaway Township, allegedly causing the death of Javan Robinson.

The matter has been transferred to Passaic County Superior Court for prosecution by the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Defendant was indicted on first degree aggravated manslaughter, first degree vehicular homicide in a School Zone, Second Degree Vehicular Homicide,  Second Degree Knowingly Leaving Scene of a motor vehicle accident that resulted in death, third degree hindering apprehension,  fourth degree obstructing the administration of law and fourth degree possession of a radio to Intercept emergency communications while committing or attempting to commit a crime.

Defendant has presently been released on $350,000 bail.
