Irvington Township Police Officers safely secured a child who was found wandering on one of the township's streets early Saturday morning.
According to Irvington Township Police officials, police were called to a bus stop on 18th Avenue to investigate reports of a young girl displaced just after 8:10 a.m.
Police arrived at the scene and found the child -who was around the age of 3-years-old- and transported her to headquarters where she was reunited with her mom shortly after being found according to police.
Authorities say the child did not suffer any injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
