A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Mr. Charles Fountain, 32, and Mr. William A. Perry, 52, both of Newark, wanted for separate aggravated assault incidents.
According to authorities, on Tuesday police responded to a residence on a call of an aggravated assault. Upon arrival, police learned that a man choked and cut a woman he knows with a knife.
Detectives investigating this incident developed sufficient evidence to secure a warrant for the arrest of Charles Fountain on Aggravated Assault charges.
Police describe Fountain as 5’3” tall, 120 lbs., medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
Officials say on Feb. 1st, 4th Precinct officers responded to a residence on a report of an aggravated assault.
An investigation determined that following a quarrel a man choked the female victim, struck her with a closed fist and attempted to assault her with a machete.
Detectives successfully secured a warrant for the arrest of William A. Perry on charges of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon (machete), Possession of a Weapon and Simple Assault.
Police describe Perry as 6-ft. tall, 265 lbs., medium brown complexion, black hair and brown eyes.
