The Mercer County Homicide Task Force and the Trenton Police Department are investigating a homicide that occurred early Thursday morning.
Trenton police responded to the first block of Hanford Place at approximately 12:40 a.m. after receiving a call about a man shot in the head.
Upon arrival, police located the victim in a silver minivan with a gunshot wound to the face. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as William Johenkins, 45, of Trenton.
The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
