This was the Kinard's Family Helping Hands 6th Year of a "Day of Service" honoring Dr. Martin L. King, Jr.
The family spent the day assisting the homeless by serving hot meals, distribute toiletries, gently worn and/or new clothing.
The also collected and disseminate information from various shelters, medical providers and other organizations in the area where they can go for housing, medical needs, etc.
"Most importantly, we will provide a hug and a smile" according to organizers.
