Officials are investigating a crash in Willingboro that killed a 4-year-old boy and injured two others Tuesday afternoon.
According to Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office spokesman Joel Bewley, the vehicle was traveling eastbound near Primrose Lane when the driver veered off Beverly-Rancocas Road into a wooded area and struck a tree.
Police say the driver and a second person suffered non-life threatening injuries. The 4-year-old boy however succumbed to his injuries.
Beverly-Rancocas road was closed for several hours following the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
