Reports of a shots fired incident that occurred at a gas station in Hamilton Township police n the scene with a confirmed victim at this time.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to reports of shots fired at the Chambers Gulf gas station located in the 1100 block of Chambers street at approximately 6:15 p.m.
Several police units arrived at the scene and found an unidentified victim suffering a gunshot wound to the abdomen according to reports.
EMS rushed the victim to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where doctors are treating serious injuries at this time.
The motive for the shooting is in the early stages of the investigation.
There are no arrests reported.
