Freehold Police are investigating a stabbing that left one person injured in the Township on Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 68 Stonehurst Boulevard to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon arrival they found a victim suffering a stab wound at that location.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey Shore Medical Center where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the stabbing remains under investigation.
