Police in Maplewood are on the search for several males who are wanted for a reported armed robbery that occurred in the township on Monday morning.
Details are continuing to develop regarding the incident, but according to preliminary reports, police are looking for two black males who wore masks when they brandished a weapon at the 7-Eleven store and committed a robbery before 4:35 a.m.
Police are attempting to determine if the same suspects are responsible for the theft of a vehicle that occurred at a short time later at the Quick Check where suspects exited a vehicle only described as an Infinity and stole a Chrysler Towns and Country with a reported NY license plate number "HUL-3366".
There were no reports of physical injuries at either incident.
A request for public information has been made to Maplewood Police Chief Jimmy DeVaul.
