Several people were transported to area hospitals after reportedly being exposed to high levels of Chlorine from a hotel's pool on Friday night in Rahway.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the Best Western Review Inn and Suites located at 1757 Paterson Street after receiving reports of several sick people.
Emergency arrived at the scene and removed about eight individuals from the hotel suffering non-life threatening injuries after they were exposed to elevated levels of Chlorine from a pool inside the hotel according to reports.
Union County Hazmat Crews arrived at the scene to assist in alleviating the issues.
The incident remains under investigation.
