The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office, Major Crimes Unit, is investigating the fatal shooting of a man in Atlantic City this evening, Atlantic County Prosecutor Damon G. Tyner announced.
According to authorities, at 8:44 p.m. on Jan. 4th, Atlantic City Police received a 911 call for a shooting at the Sunset Inn, reporting that a man had been shot.
Police arrived at the scene and found an injured man who was rushed to AtlantiCare Medical Center City Campus Trauma Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is a cooperative effort between the ACPO Major Crimes Unit and the Atlantic City Police Department. No further information will be released at this time.
