UPDATE: Found Safe
Newark Public Safety Director Anthony F. Ambrose reports that police are seeking the public’s help in locating 83-year old Eladio Rivera of Newark, who was reported missing yesterday.
Officials say Mr. Rivera, who suffers from dementia and diabetes, was last seen in the 400-block of Mt. Prospect Avenue.
Officials described Rivera as 5’2” tall and 135 lbs. He has a medium complexion, brown eyes and white hair. He was wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, and a black surgical boot on his left foot.
While police are actively searching for Mr. Rivera, we seek the public’s help in quickly locating him and returning him to his family.
