Paterson Police are looking into about eight armed robberies that occurred in the city since Friday where gunmen targeted everything from Barber shops to Gas Stations.
Police say they believe that the suspect/s are responsible for most of the robberies where there were some physical attacks during the incidents.
Here are a list of some of the armed robberies that were reported:
-At Around 5 p.m. on Friday two black males entered a bodega located at 466 River Street and robbed the establishment at gunpoint.
-At approximately 6 p.m. Friday, two black males armed with a gun enters a grocery store at 532 Union Avenue and robbed the establishment. The suspects reportedly wore masks.
- At approximately 6:20 p.m. suspects arrived at a barbershop located at 162 West Broadway and robbed the establishment then assaulted one victim before running from the scene.
-At approximately 7:24 p.m., four suspects -two armed with guns- reportedly responsible for the barbershop robbery are wanted for two robberies that occurred in the 600 block of Market Street. The suspects were occupying a gey Hyundai with Connecticut license plates.
-At approximately 8:40 p.m. Friday several black male suspects committed an armed robber in the vicinity of 68 Paterson Street. There were no injuries.
NOTE: At approximately 11:15 p.m., police located the grey Hyundai occupied by several females. The car was reportedly used in two robberies and reported stolen. The occupants were detained.
On Saturday, police launched an investigation into two gas station robberies located at 195 21st Avenue and 594 Main Street where a Hispanic or white gunman held up both establishments at around 10 pm and 10:30 p.m.
The suspect wore a black jacket, black jeans, and a ski-mask.
There were no injuries reported.
