**Ms. Alaba Sotayo**, 25, is a Nigerian immigrant who is a product of The city of Newark and NPS's Science Park High School Graduate.

Alaba said she found her passion in medicine through a high school summer research program that collaborated with New Jersey Medical School, as well as through her volunteering experiences at University Hospital.
