The Smith Family Foundation with proud support of community partners will celebrate unity in the community by hosting a free Kwanzaa celebration this week.
According to a statement released by organizers, the celebration begins at 11 a.m. on December 29th at the Trenton War Memorial Building and will include a vendor market, and several presentations form the community.
The celebration will close with a featured performance of "The Lion King Jr." by Sprout U School of the Arts.
Officials say there will be three rooms of fun including family photo opportunities, lectures, giveaways and crafts.
The event is all FREE to the public.
