One year ago today, Newark Police officials alerted the community of a woman who vanished without a trace and remains missing as we speak.
The case involves Ms. Venika Williams a Newark resident whose last sighting was on December 22, 2017
According to a statement released by police, police are again asking the public for their assistance in locating Ms. Venika Williams, 28, who they say went missing on December 22, 2017 where Newark Police officials believe Venika was last observed heading to Jersey City wearing a black leather coat, blue jeans, red sneakers, and carrying a red purse.
As our entire crew prepare to announce Venika's return someday by copying the phrase **"UPDATE: Found Safe"** on every computer in our information space, it is becoming more apparent that we have been pasting the words on a lot of others who have temporarily disconnected from their homes or family during the time that Venika has gone missing.
According to police, in a slight twist that had many of our platform members raising their eyebrows in concern and suggesting that something more sinister may have happened to Venika, she wasn't officially reported missing to police until January 1, 2018, by an unidentified family member.
Newark Police says Williams is 5'3" tall and weighs about 142 lbs with brown eyes and hair.
As every working shift in our RLS information workspace eagerly observes every incoming email, inboxed messages, and regular mail for community information in regards to a sighting of Venika, we have been in the continued efforts to find her since day one.
Our staff has posted about twice a month, and we will not stop until we can inform our platform members and awaiting family members that Venika has been **"Found Safe."**
Somewhere, somehow or someplace.
Newark Public Safety Director Antony Ambrose urges anyone with information about Venika Williams whereabouts to call the Department's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) or 1-877-NWK-GUNS (1-877-695-4867).
