**UPDATE 10:02AM Found Safe!**
Police officials in Newark are on the search for a child who went missing from his Newark East Ward home on Friday.
According to preliminary reports from police, 10-year-old Yasin Blount was last seen near his residence at Hyatt Court located in the single digit block of Horatio Court at around 2 p.m.
Police officials say Blount is approximately 5 ft. tall and weighs 120lbs and was last seen wearing dark blue jeans, dark sneakers, a green, and white windbreaker, a black jacket, and a hoodie.
