A very fortunate Hudson County lottery player can enjoy this holiday season and start the new year as a multi-millionaire.
One ticket matched all six numbers drawn for the Monday, Dec. 17 Pick -6 XTRA drawing winning the $29.5 million annuity jackpot. The cash value of the ticket is $20.87 million.
That winning ticket was sold in Hudson County at Eddy’s Wine & Liquor, 490 Avenue C in Bayonne. The lucky retailer will receive a bonus of $10,000 for selling that winning ticket.
The winning numbers for the Monday, Dec. 17 drawing were: 09, 12, 15, 18, 27 and 34. The XTRA Multiplier was: 03. The jackpot for the Pick-6 XTRA game has reset to $2 million. The next drawing will be held Thursday, Dec. 20.
Acting Executive Director James Carey said, “I look forward to meeting the winner of this significant jackpot prize and learning how it may impact their life. This win can really make for a happy holiday season and new year!”
In addition to the jackpot winner, Carey reported that for correctly matching five out of the six white balls drawn, 24 ticketholders won $2,197 each and five others won $6,591 each by adding the XTRA feature to their purchase. As well, thousands of other prizewinning tickets were sold.
