Police are reporting critical injuries for a pedestrian struck by a car in Newark's Ironbound Section this evening.
According to authorities, police were called to the vicinity of Pulaski and Walnut streets at approximately 5 p.m. to investigate reports of an injured person.
Upon their arrival, they found a severely injured unconscious female bleeding from the face after she was struck by a car at that location.
EMS rushed the woman to University Hospital where doctors began threatening her injuries.
There were no other injuries or arrests reported.
