American Youth Football officials have announced that the Fords New Jersey Bearcats have won a football national championship in gridiron contest down in Kissimmee Florida.
Officials say the Middlesex County 14-U team that's led by Coach Gary Lindor arrived in Florida for their 2 p.m. contest on Sunday against the Springfield Tigers of Massachusettes where the Bearcats easily showed their dominance when the game in a 21-7 route at The Austin Tindall Stadium.
The Bearcats moved on to the semifinal round on Tuesday to take and shutout the Worcester Cowboys of Massachusettes by a score of 36-0 in front of a sold-out crowd according to officials.
In the Thursday at 1 p.m. championship contest, the Fords football program was strategically tested with the skilled defense of the Charm City Buccaneers of Maryland who put up a chest-to-chest battle against The Bearcats' creative offense.
The Fords Bearcats managed to get by the Charm City Buccaneers with a score of 6-0 which would officially crown the NJ team their first National Championship and third NJ State Championship crown.
