A bicyclist struck by a police vehicle in Newark on Tuesday night has police investigating.
The incident happened just outside a supermarket in the North Ward community of Mount Prospect Avenue at approximately 7:15 p.m. where a police car hit the unidentified person on a bike causing non-fatal injuries.
A crime scene unit arrived in the 300 block of Mount Prospect Avenue to photograph the scene.
There were non-life threatening injuries immediately reported.
