Police are investigating after a female was robbed at gunpoint while loading groceries into her car outside Whole Foods in Union.
According to officials, on November 27th, at about 8 p.m., police headquarters received a call from a person reporting an armed robbery in the parking lot of Whole Foods, located at 2245 Springfield Avenue in Union.
Responding officers located a victim who reported she had finished shopping and was putting bags in the trunk of her car when a man approached her, displayed a handgun and demanded her money. The victim turned over her bag which contained her wallet with money and credit cards.
Police described the suspect as a black male, between 40-50 years old and was wearing a face mask. He was last seen running towards Springfield Avenue.
Authorities are following up a few leads, but could use help from anyone who has information on this crime.
