Jersey City Police are investigating the motive behind a shooting that injured one person on a street in the city on Friday evening.
EMS contacted police when they found an unidentified person suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the ankle in the 20'a block of Bidwell Avenue at approximately 9 p.m.
The victim was transported to Jersey City Medical Center suffering non-life threatening injuries.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
