Police are investigating a burglary at a local jewelry store early this morning in Plainfield.
Police responded to Gold Breeze Inc. - located at 177 East Front Street – for alarm activation at approximately 4:20 a.m., police said this afternoon.
Upon arrival at approximately, officers determined that entry had been made to the business. Plainfield Police Officers conducted a premise check and determined that a burglary had occurred.
The owner arrived on scene and noticed that an undetermined amount of gold jewelry had been taken.
