Police in Jersey City are attempting to find the motive behind a stabbing that left a male injured at a location in the city Monday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 100 block of Bostwick Avenue after receiving reports of an injured person shortly before 1 a.m.
Officers arrived at the scene and found a male victim suffering a stab wound to the abdomen at that location. Ems transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where doctors treated non-life threatening injuries.
The exact location of where the incident occurred remains under investigation.
There were no arrests reported.
