Officials confirmed that two Englewood detectives in an unmarked car were rushed to the hospital with injuries after they were rear-ended on Route 4 Monday morning.
According to authorities, the detectives were stalled in westbound traffic near the border of Hackensack and Teaneck when they were rear-ended by an SUV around 8:40 a.m.
Police say the detectives were transported to an area hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The incident remains under investigation.
