Middlesex County authorities are looking into a shooting that left a man in New Brunswick Sunday night.
Police were called to the Quick Check on How Lane in North Brunswick after they received reports of an injured person at that location.
Officers from North Brunswick and Fraklin arrived at the scene and began to investigate then canvass the area for a possible crime scene after they found the victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound o the leg.
EMS transported the victim to the hospital where he is expected to survive the injury according to reports.
Police determined that the shooting occurred on Henry Street in New Brunswick but are continuing to investigate the motive for the shooting.
