Bloomfield Police are actively investigating a reported armed carjacking that occurred at a 7-Eleven in the Township on Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the 544 Broad Street after they received reports of a carjacking in progress.
Unite arrived at the scene and found the victim who reported that two black male suspects armed with a gun approached and demanded their 2018 black Chevy Camaro shortly before 2 a.m.
The suspects sped away from the scene without causing any injuries to the victim according to reports.
Police were able to recover the vehicle but there were no reports of any arrests.
