Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Dennis Calo announced the arrest of Felix Ortega-Antonio, 32, of Hackensack, on charges of endangering the welfare of a minor and criminal sexual contact.
According to authorities, on November 5th, the Hackensack Police Department received a report that Ortega-Antonio engaged in an act of sexual contact with a minor between the ages of thirteen and sixteen in Hackensack.
As the result of an investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit and the Hackensack Police Department, Ortega-Antonio was arrested on Nov. 5th in Hackensack and charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a minor and one count of criminal sexual contact.
Officials say Ortega-Antonio is scheduled for a first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack on November 9th at 1:30 p.m.
Acting Prosecutor Calo states that the charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
