Authorities in Elizabeth are on the search for a male who crashed a car into a parked cars in an Elizabeth neighborhood then ran away from the scene on Friday night.
Firefighters were called to the 200 block of Murray Street at approximately 8 p.m. after they received reports of a car crash with fire igniting several vehicles.
Crews arrived at the sene and found an unoccupied vehicle engulfed in flames after it slammed into a parked car.
Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in a short amount of time according to officials.
Police were told the driver of the vehicle was possibly intoxicated when he lost control then crashed. A good Samaritan assisted the driver out of the car shortly before the fire started officials said.
There were no injuries reported.
