An overnight stabbing that sent one person to the hospital suffering injuries in Newark's West Ward has police investigating.
The incident happened at approximately 10 p.m. in the 100 block of Cedar Avenue where police responded to reports of a person stabbed.
Units arrived at the scene and found an adult male bleeding after someone stabbed him in the stomach and arm according to reports.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital where doctors treated his injuries and expect him to recovery.
There were no arrests reported.
