UPDATE: Three Men Arrested for Shooting Teens in Jersey City

Jersey City Police has announced an arrest in a shooting that injured two teens in the city on Friday night.

According to a statement released by Jersey City officials, the incident happened at approximately 10 p.m. where officers patrolling the area heard shots fired from the vicinity of Union Street from MLK to Ocean Avenue.

Officials say upon further investigation, officers located two victims around the ages of 19 and 17 years old suffering gunshot wounds.

Police say, they spotted the potential suspects and after a brief vehicle pursuit, officers quickly apprehended Mr.Sean Dickson, Mr. Jahmir Roberson and Mr. Alshaquire Duval all of Jersey City

Officials say all of the men were charged with Aggravated Assault x2, 2c:5-1 Criminal Attempt Criminal Homicide x2, 2c:39-4, Possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, 2c:39-5 Possession of a Weapon of unlawful purpose, 2c:29-2a resisting arrest by flight, 2c:20-7a Receiving stolen property (handgun).

The incident remains under investigation.
