A woman in Newark's South Ward suffered non-life threatening injuries after she jumped from a window of a building on Thursday night.
Police and EMS responded to the 400 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard after they received reports of a jumper down at approximately 10:10 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a female suffering an ankle injury after she jumped from the first-floor window when she was home and reportedly heard someone kick in her front door.
Doctors treated the woman's injuries as police launched an investigation into the incident.
There were no immediate reports of arrests.
