Newark Police officials are reporting that police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a male wanted in connection with a business robbery that occurred Sunday.
Police say at approximately 9:15 p.m., an unknown male entered Dunkin Donuts, located at 402 South Street, and demanded that workers open the register.
The man stole all the cash from the register and fled the store in an unknown direction according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5’6” tall with a medium build and has a slight beard and goatee.
Police say the man wore a black wave cap, a jean jacket that is ripped in the chest area, dark pants and black and white sneakers.
It is not clear if the man produced a weapon during the robbery.
