Newark Police officials are looking into reports of a robbery that occurred at a business in Newark's Ironbound section on Sunday night.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the Dunkin Donuts located in the 400 block of South Street at around 9:25 p.m. after they received reports of criminal activity.
Units arriving at the scene began to canvassed the vicinity for a black male suspect who was last seen wearing blue jeans, du-rag, who fled the scene after taking an unknown amount of cash from the establishment.
It is not immediately known or confirmed if the suspect produced a weapon during the incident.
There were no physical injuries reported.
