Jersey City authorities are on the search for at least two gunmen who are responsible for a shots fired incident that occurred in a neighborhood in the city on Tuesday night.
According to preliminary reports, the apparent exchange of gunfire happened in the 90's block of Martin Luther King Drive just before 8 p.m.
Police arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting had occurred with property damage according to police.
Officers closed off the area after finding several shell casings and other evidence at that location.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
There were no injuries reported.
