NJ State Police officials are investigating a crash that had a motorcyclist killed this afternoon in Morris County.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to investigate a crash in the eastbound lanes of I-80 near mile marker 34 in Wharton after receiving reports of a collision with injuries at around 3 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found the motorcyclist down on the ground severely injured.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene according to officials.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. There were no other injuries reported.
