A crash that had several vehicles damaged in Jersey City has police on the search for several occupants of a vehicle who fled the scene.
Emergency responders rushed to reports of a crash with injuries near the intersection of Mallory and Communipaw avenues shortly before 11:45 p.m. where crews arrived at the scene and found about four cars struck at that location.
EMS treated several victims for non-life threatening injuries while police officers conducted a search of the area for as many as three black male suspects who fled the scene immediately after the crash according to reports.
There were no reports of a police pursuit during the time of the crash.
